My initial passion within photography was Street Photography, I loved sneaking around and catching everyday moments, people going about their business. I find beauty in the banal of these situations. This is what led to me becoming a reportage wedding photographer. This is why one of the first things I say to couples on the day is "pretend I'm not here" then I fade away and do my best not to interfere with the flow of the day.
I've always tried to avoid cheesy and aim for raw, emotional images. I will spend 90% of the day focusing on the documentary side of the photography but will always put some time aside in the day for some couple and formal portraits!
